Today we’re going to jump in and talk about something that every parent has experienced: a dysregulated child.
When you’re in those situations, or reflecting back on them, do you ever long to just clear away the clutter of expectations and experience calm even in the midst of chaos? I know I do.
To be clear - all children struggle with emotional dysregulations on some level. How it looks is different for every child. Whether your child struggles with typical bouts of emotional dysregulation or they are like my more spirited children, I’m extending all the solidarity but also a few practical tips to help you stay connected with your child *even when they are dysregulated*.
